Therapy

OK, I am obsessed with the HBO TV show In Treatment. Amazing. It is just people (actors, acting) in therapy talking to a therapist. It is on 5 days a week, and each Monday episode has the same person (it is her Monday appointment) and so on... on Fridays the THERAPIST goes to HIS therapy session and transforms into the patient. It is a half an hour long and there is only talking. On the Thursday episode, it is a couple trying to save their marriage. I LOVE Thursdays! I cried at the episode last night. This week is the season finales. Which I am extremely happy about. I thought it was over for good and it was the series finale, but nope, just the season. Anyways it is an AMAZING show and Austin and I are obsessed. If you get a chance you MUST check this show out!

Happy Birthday!

Today is Austin's birthday! The big 2-8! Unfortunalty he has to work, but I am making him shrimp enchiladas for dinner and getting a yummy cake! Mmmmm. To celebrate we are going to see The Black Keys ( http://www.theblackkeys.com/ ) on April 5th over in Seattle! It will be awesome!

Well it has been a crazy few weeks. Grandpa is doing MUCH better. Although when he went in to the dentist the dentist said, "Everything is finally healing nicely, but I see another tooth that could come out!" Ummm. NO! That is where all of his problems started in the first place. Jerk. My grandpa will NOT be having that tooth pulled. Thank goodness.
So after Grandpa was in the hospital, and Clara was super sick I worked 8 days straight, working at 5:30 AM. And I started feeling ill. Great. I took TONS of vitamin C and multivitamins to get rid of whatever was coming to take me down! I never did get completely sick, but had a hard time going to work. I usually work 25 hours and did the 40 hour thing. Ick. I love my usual 3 days off a week. It is great. And Friday I got off work ,picked up the kids, packed up the car, and as soon as Austin got home we headed to Wenatchee for the weekend. So tomorrow will be my first REAL day off in 3 weeks! I am SO looking forward to it!
Everyone is coming over for Easter this weekend and it is going to be another crazy weekend, but hopefully I will get enough rest the next few days so that I am not a major bitch this weekend. I don't want to be going around saying "Happy F-ing Easter". I am super excited to dye eggs with Connor. It will be fun! In the newspaper today (Life Section, last page) it showed a cool way to dye eggs with leaves printed on it! I think I may try it! It looked so neat!
Totally new subject:
So on Saturday, Shannon, my BFF, called to tell me her crappy weekend. I think I will share it. It is unbelievable! So Friday she is at her friend's house. She looked out the window and saw a guy walking straight towards her car. She went outside to ask what he was doing and he looked right at her, got in her car, and drove off! She freaked! She realized she must have dropped her keys near her car when going into her friend's house. Then she realized that they had the keys to her house and her address on the car's registration! So the police sent an officer to their place, and then they had teh locks changed. Fast forward to Saturday morning at 5 am, they hear a noise. Brian gets up to make sure they aren't trying to get in their house, and looks outside. They took HIS car! Both cars stolen! Scary! They called the news (KOMO, Seattle) and were on the news with pics of the cars and license plates. Yikes. They probably won't be recovered. and if they are they will be trashed. Thank goodness they thought to change the locks on their house! So if your car gets stolen and they have teh keys be sure to change the locks on EVERYTHING! Including your other cars! I am totally bummed for her! So, I think I wrote PLENTY for today. I have things I need to go do!
Tomorrow is Austin's birthday! Woo Hoo!

SO SICK OF SICK KIDS!

Clara is sick AGAIN!!! It is coming out both ends. NOT fun! I have had to chang her clothes 5 times today already! 5!!! I felt bad because I had to take her to the store to go get some Pedialyte. I called the doctor's office and the nurse told me to stop with formula and food and jsut give her water and the Pedialyte. Yikes! I feel SO bad for her! So I just hope this works. I have to work on Friday and can't call in sick again! It would have to be Austin's turn! Wish me luck!

Good ol' Grandpa

My poor grandpa has been so sick the past 3 weeks or so. It all started when he had some teeth pulled. He bled for a good week and a half from his mouth. He was soaking his bed sheets with blood. And the dentist didn't seem concerned! Grrr.... Then because his mouth was bleeding and he has huge holes in his mouth he can't eat anything except a liquid diet. He can't get his dentures because his mouth is so torn up they can't align them to make them. Grrr.... So he has been SO WEAK and started using a walker. And his legs are SO SWOLLEN! AND he has been nauseous, and has been having trouble breathing. Poor guy.

So I went with my grandparents to his doctor's appointment to help him in and out of the car. The doctor decided on a blood transfusion later today. He said those are all symptoms of low something-rather that is in the blood. Yikes! I am just sick for him! He is feeling better today though. He DOES look a lot better today then he did last Thursday when I saw him. But I still feel horrible for him. I just want him 100% and not in pain! So now we are just waiting for the doctor to call with the okay to go over to the hospital! I hate waiting! All of this just because of some teeth that were pulled! And I don't think it was even necessary for them to be pulled! Just annoying... But I know he will be fine!
