W.O.W.

No, not World of Warcraft. We went to see Wings Over Washington with Katie, Aiden, and Eli. What fun! The Canadian Snowbirds, who are similar to the Blue Angels, were there and it was great! The kids LOVED it. Even the babies (well they are almost a year and a half old, but still babies!!) loved it! Connor kept freaking out, "They are going to crash!" I had to reassure him that they weren't. They also had a F-15? there. Wow, that thing was LOUD! I had to cover poor Clara's ears.
They had a ton of stuff going on there too. They had the Tri-City Americans hockey team there signing autographs, with Winger the mascot. They had multiple forms of military recruiting, they had food booths, vintage planes to show, and radio stations parked everywhere. I didn't realize that these air shows had so much in them!!
My favorite part was the US Cellular Phone guy in costume. He comes over to shake Connor's hand and the kids want to give him a hug. So the guy gets down on his knees to give the kids a hug. Ahhh, how sweet.
Then the poor guy, as he is getting up, trips over his huge clown-like shoes and almost falls on top of Aiden and Connor. The kids are scared to death. I am not sure if they thought they were being attacked by a giant cell phone or what. But I have never laughed so hard in my life. It was priceless. Where is a video camera when you need one? YouTube anyone? I felt embarrassed for the guy. Connor and Aiden are asking, "why did he do that?" And I replied, ""if I had to walk around in those huge shoes I would fall too." The cell phone pointed to his shoes and gave me a thumbs up. I have to give this guys props, during the whole fiasco, he still didn't talk. I would've yelled out an obscenity. The only way it could have been better is if he yelled "shit!" while toppling over. Anybody else go to the air show last night?

No puppies...

Well, Lucy isn't pregnant. The vet says she possibly has cysts on her ovaries, which is causing her hormones to act as though she were pregnant. So we didn't completely lose it! The vet thought she may pregnant at first!

So we just have to keep an eye on her to make sure she gets better. Now I am worse off mentally than I was, because it may be something more serious than her being pregnant. I guess the vet didn't seem to worried. I am not sure how common this is in dogs.

They did an x-ray to make sure there wasn't anything weird going on. The vet didn't see anything, but they are going to send it off to a veterinarian radiologist to double check. So that is the update!!

Puppy anyone?

All I can say is I am WAY to young to be a grandma. I mean, really, I am only 27. We find out for sure tomorrow at the vet if Lucy is preggo. I hope with all hopes that she is not. But the signs are pointing to yes.

DAMN!

We did not witness the act of our slutty dog getting pregnant. But our neighbors don't have a fence to keep their dogs in the yard, so their dogs run free throughout the neighborhood, shitting on people's lawns, digging under fences (ours) and apparently knocking poor helpless dogs up! Ok, so Lucy isn't a slut. The neighbor's dogs are rapists.

Why do think she is pregnant?

Well, first off, she has been licking her nipples raw for the last week. And her tummy is droopy (but not firm yet?). Ans she has been acting really strange. This morning I gave her a bone and usually she attacks the hell out of it and chews it up, and then carries around the remaining pieces for a week or so before finishing it off. Well, today she ran to the back door and cried and cried until I let her out. Then she ran to my flower beds (which she usually leaves alone) and digs like hell to bury the bone.

Now, I do realize that a dog burying a bone doesn't sound like unusual behavior, but what if she NEVER has done that before? I stopped her from ruining my plants and made her go in the house (with the bone, of course.) She proceeds to run upstairs to my bedroom and tries to bury it in her crate and pushes it to the back then gets in and sits on it.

Seriously.

Weird.

She has also been laying in her crate 95% of the day whimpering. I feel so bad for her. I hope that she is pregant and not something serious. But don't you agree, she has the symtoms of a dog who is preggo.

I promise this will be the LAST time we are lazy about getting a dog fixed! I can also promise that is she is pregnant that we will be selling these puppies for cheap (read: FREE) if anyone is interested!

My Dancing Crew

My kids crack me up. They both LOVE to dance. Here is a video of Clara dancing to Jack Johnson. And a video of Connor dancing to the Transformers theme song. He does this EVERY time he watches that DVD. It cracks me up. I like how at the end he is all embarrassed because he didn't know I was filming him, but plays it off like he knew all along. What a nut!

Ok- the dumb videos won't load. So I have to put links in instead. Oh well. Go check them out! so funny!!

Eating problems

No, I am not anorexic or bulimic. I am just overweight. I am not freakishly huge or anything, just overweight. And I know what my problem is, I just can't fix it. I have tried. My problem is I don't eat. And so when I do eat, it is to much or crappy food, because it was easy. Why don't I eat, you ask? Well here is a rundown of my day:

I wake up and feed the kids. Then I run around getting them ready to go to school. Yes, Austin does help me! After baths, or whatever may be needed, the kids are off to "school" (daycare) and Austin is off to work. Then I just want a few minutes of quiet. I will take my shower, read the paper, yadda yadda. Then I FINALLY (it is probably noon by now) make something quick to eat, watch my soap opera and do any running around that I need to do. I go to work and don't eat until I get home. 9 times out of 10 I forget food to take to work and I WILL NOT eat a Costco hot dog everyday for lunch!! Then I get home, eat something quick (it is almost 10 when I get home.) Relax a little, and go to bed.

Cristy, Me, and Mellisa in Mexico (senior trip, summer of '99)

Me in Hawaii last fall (ewww), hey Mellisa went on that trip too! HA!

So, I eat 2 times a day. And always quick meals. I get real meals on my days off. But a real meal only twice a week? So my body doesn't know when it is going to get food next, so it stores everything. What is my fricking problem? It is driving me nuts. I would go back on Weight Watchers, which, before Clara, I lost 40 lbs with. But it costs money, something that we don't have much of right now. Thank you economy. I am dreading my 10 year class reunion next summer, only because I am 50 pounds heavier. Which is A LOT!! I am the heaviest I have ever been. I don't want to go and have everyone ask me if I am pregnant, and I will say, "no, we were done having kids 2 years ago." And I know it is my own stinking fault for letting myself get this way. Sigh. I have been trying to keep up with the Wii fit (which is fun!) but I am in the mind set that if I have time to play a video game, I probably should be folding laundry, doing the dishes, or cleaning the bathrooms. I suppose I need to get on the track of not thinking it is a video game. Being lazy sucks. I better go, it is 12:15 and I haven't had anything to eat all morning. AAAHHH.

Am I the only person who has trouble finding time just to eat?

Labor Day Laziness

This was soooooo good. It is tequila but is like baileys.
It was awesome. My mom got it when she was in Mexico.
My daddy
Clara and her baby
Wenatchee, from mom and dad's deck.
It's nice to say that I grew up in a place like this.
Austin's Jack and coke, ewwww.
No, we didn't drink the WHOLE time.

Obsessed with shoes

My daughter, who is 16 months old, is currently obsessed with shoes. She is definitely my daughter. She will find shoes, any one's shoes, and immediately want to put them on. I hear, "shoes!" all day long. She even puts socks on and calls them shoes (her favorite socks are Austin's). She sees someone with shoes on and wants her shoes on too. She is hilarious. She takes them off, to inspect them, and then cries when she can't get them back on. It is adorable. I thought she would be to young to have an obsession like this, but apparently not! I even went to Target and we were looking at the shoes on sale, and she cried when we left the department, "shoes!" I will have to post some pictures later!
I think shoes are great. They are so cute and you can gain a pound and they will still fit. Tight jeans, but not tight shoes. I am so pround of my daughter!!!

slacking...

I have tried posting before this, I swear. But then my computer freezes up, or some other odd thing happens, and I can't post. I tried posting a bunch of pictures and I couldn't do that either. So I will write this post and then I will have ANOTHER post with pictures and stuff. I don't think I will have the time or energy to update anything. We are good. We have been running around. We went to the fair and Dust Devils game. We went to Wenatchee to visit my parents and come friends. My other friend had a baby. My house is still a mess, and I am still to lazy to clean it up. We have started planning Connor's 5th birthday. yikes. I can't believe he will be 5!!!! So that is all. I am sure there was other things that I have forgotten, but I will remember and post them later!!! I hope everyone had a great summer!!! Happy Fall! I am putting my autumn wreath on my door today. Wow! How time flies!
